Estonia’s Premier Border City Festival Returns for Its 8th Edition

For the eighth consecutive year, Station Narva will transform Estonia’s easternmost city into a vibrant hub of music, art, and community celebration. From September 4-7, 2025, this internationally acclaimed festival will once again fill the historic border city with sounds from Estonia and beyond, inviting visitors to live and breathe alongside Narva and its people.
A Musical Journey Through Medieval Walls
The heart of Station Narva’s 2025 music program beats within the historic Hermann Castle at Narva Museum on Friday and Saturday, September 5-6. This medieval fortress will host two distinctly different nights of exceptional music programming.
Friday Night Program – September 5, 2025
Friday’s lineup launches with Vaiko Eplik & Eliit at 19:00, setting the tone for an evening that seamlessly blends Estonian artistry with international sounds. The night features:

The festival opens Thursday, September 4, with a free concert by the award-winning vocal group Estonian Voices, and the musical program extends into the night hours at the legendary riverside Ro-Ro cultural club.

Estonian Voices: A Musical Masterpiece
The award-winning vocal sextet Estonian Voices creates unique soundscapes where each voice contributes to perfect technical mastery combined with captivating playfulness. Their repertoire spans jazz, classical, pop, and folk arrangements, featuring selections from their latest album “Kallimale” (To My Beloved). Special guests from the local “Magic Land” vocal studio will join for select performances, and in tribute to composer Arvo Pärt’s 90th anniversary, the program will include works from his children’s song collection.

The Youth Laboratory Initiative
Station Narva has launched an innovative Youth Laboratory program, creating a new generation festival team with strong regional identity. This two-year educational program, developed in partnership with kood/Jõhvi technology school and creative incubator OBJEKT, offers:

- Marketing and media communication
- Financial planning
- Hands-on experience at international festivals
Under the guidance of strategic designer and programmer Raik Ilves, participants will help create a next-generation festival digital platform reaching thousands of users.
A Legacy of Excellence
Over the years, Station Narva has brought renowned international artists to the border city, including Echo and the Bunnymen, Tricky, Actress, Roni Size, A Guy Called Gerald, James Lavelle, Gazelle Twin, Ivan Dorn, GusGus, Hatari, Spiritualized, and Flowdan, alongside beloved performers from across Estonia.
Political Engagement: BAZAR Discussion
Following the opening concert, join the BAZAR public discussion: “Candidates are Counted in Autumn” on Thursday, September 4, at 19:00 on the 2nd floor of Rugodiv Cultural Center.
With local government elections scheduled for October 19, 2025, this timely debate brings together representatives from various electoral lists to address questions collected from Narva residents. Topics will cover all aspects of city life – present and future – providing voters with essential insights before election day.
The Discussion Day BAZAR creates safe, comfortable conditions for exploring all areas of life: culture and education, social services and healthcare, architecture and urban planning, national issues, and local city matters.
